Last weekend the Cardinals lost two ballgames. Hits from Jim Abell, Andy Korte, and Mike Osaer were not enough to win the first ball game.
Sunday the boys worked as grounds keepers to ready the playing field. Special thank you to Mr. Scott, Mr. Welker, and Mr. Zarb, for helping fix the field. Heading the effort for the boys was Scott Hammond, Dave Welker, Jim Pruzzo, and Jim Scott.
With some long ball hitting by Gary Zarb, Mike Osaer, Jim Abell, Steve Lamb, Andy Korte, and Tom Popiel just was not enough to pull the game out.
Another special thanks to the fans that came to watch the boys play and a big thank you to Mr. Hammond, Mr. Wilson, and Mr. Fadoir for the refreshments after the game.
