Donald Nicholas Korte, age 92 of Portage, MI formerly of Dearborn Heights, passed away January 15, 2021. Beloved husband of Marjorie (deceased) for 58 years. Loving father of Peter (deceased), Paul (Joy), Ann (Robert) Pefley, Mary (David) Curtis, Andrew (Leeann), Susan (Paul) Hinz, John (Diana), Matthew (Lisa), Barbara DiStefano, Robert (Gayle). Grandfather of 23 and Great-Grandfather of 17.

John Vecchioni, 94, of Dearborn, Mich., passed away peacefully into eternal life on July 10, 2020. John was the beloved husband of the late Eleanor for 66 years, and the loving father and father-in-law of Daniel (Nancy), Karen (Mark) Falahee, Henry (Lori), Cynthia (Kent) Fairless, and Thomas (Gina). He also was the cherished grandfather of Katharine (Joshua), Jessica (Andrew), Julia (Jay), Patrick (Julianne), Meghan (Zach), Gina (Kyle), Jack, Andrew (Aimee), Michael, Emily, Taylor and Alex, and the loving great-grandfather of Walker, Patrick, Nora, William, Millie, Sabina, Eleanor, Charlotte and Evelyn. He also is survived by his sister-in-law, Irene Vecchioni. John was born Nov. 24, 1925, in Detroit, Mich. He served in the Navy aboard the U.S.S. Winooski during World War II. He and his late brother Albert were long-time proprietors of the Four Vees Lounge in Dearborn. John also was active at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church in Dearborn Heights for more than 60 years, including 50 years as an usher.

Percy Allen Teschendorf passed away on April 20, 2020, at the age of 91. He is survived by his loving wife Molly, with which he shared 65 years of marriage, their children Michael (Mary) Teschendorf, Patrick (the late Ellen) Teschendorf (Valerie Inanna) and Colleen (Mark) DaMour, grandchildren, Dan (Julie) Teschendorf, Amanda (Randy) Hill, Heather (Wes) Berlin, Molly (John) Czoykowski, Stephen (Gina) Teschendorf, Katelyn (Andrew Karasinski) DaMour, Andrew Teschendorf, Timothy DaMour and David DaMour and ten great-grandchildren.

Anna Krzywonos, of Farmington Hills, passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2019, at Beaumont Hospital, Farmington Hills. She was 94, and suffered a heart attack the day prior. Anna was born December 17, 1924, in Casandra, PA, to the late John and Mary Gergely. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Michael A., Sr., on October 10, 2014. Surviving are five devoted children, Barbara (the late Ralph) Edwards, Michael, Richard (Brenda), David (Robin) and John (Lori); cherished grandchildren, Rebecca, Jessie, Josh, Adam, Ellen and Andy; and great-granddaughters, Gracie and Ella.

Loretta Rose Kleiber January 29, 1920 – August 3, 2000, She was married to the late Charles Thomas Kleiber, Beloved mother to Margaret (Richard) Turowski, Christine (Kenneth) Selvia, and Charles. Loretta was born on January 29, 1920, in Harrison City, Pennsylvania, her father, Joseph, was 32, and her mother, Rose, was 29. She married Charles Thomas Kleiber on February 15, 1941, in Wyandotte, Michigan. Loretta was a retired switchboard operator at Oakwood Hospital. She died on August 3, 2000, in Grand Traverse, Michigan, at the age of 80.

Evelyn D. Siemiesz (Anton), Age 71, January 3, 1999 of Dearborn Heights. Beloved wife of Victor. Dearest father of David (Hilary), Mark, Thomas, Sue and Kathy. Charles T Kleiber was born on April 14, 1917. He died on May 30, 1995 at age 78. Beloved son of Ben and Mildred, Charles was the beloved father of Margaret Ann (Richard) Turowski, Christine Louise (Kenneth) Selvia, and Charles Joseph. Services will be held at Martenson Funeral Home and St. Albert the Great Church.

Shirley Welker, 41, died November 6th, 1977 when a train struck the car she was driving while picking her son up from the bowling alley. Shirley, her son David, and the family dog Bear were all killed in the accident as the crossing gates never came down on the railroad track.
