1975 CHRONICLE – BOYS C.Y.O. BASKETBALL

BOYS C.Y.O. BASKETBALL

A great crowd showed up on Super Sunday to see the C.Y.O. Boys’ Basketball team defeat St. Norbert’s 46 to 17. High scorers of the game were Gary Zarb with 12 points and Randy Huettman with 8 points. A great half time show by the cheerleaders and Mrs. O’Connor’s drill team gave the fans a good show. This Sunday let’s see all you folks at the game; we need your support to help beat St. Sebastian. See the pictures of the game in the back of the church at each exit.

RED CROSS BLOOD BANK

ONE HUNDRED PINTS is the quota for St. Albert’s Parish when the Red Cross comes here on Thursday, February 13, 1975 from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. The new Red Cross Total Coverage Program will provide blood for you and your spouse, dependent children, parents and grandparents, and brothers and sister of unmarried donors. In order to make this possible, the families of St. Albert the Great Parish are asked to mark February 13th on your calendar as the day to donate blood, and remind your friends and neighbors to do the same. Persons of the ages 18 to 65 who are in good health are in a position to give blood. It is a safe and simple process. REMEMBER FEBRUARY 13, 1975 in St. Albert’s Gym. If you are able to give blood when the Red Cross comes here on February 13th, please send the following information to the rectory, or put it in the collection basket.
