During the past several Sundays, a special collection has been taken up to see if enough money could be obtained in this manner without having a Fall Festival. The results of the special collections are as follows:

Cash $8,432
Pledges $2,477
Total $10,909

The members of the Church Committee met last week to consider the questions. The Committee felt that many more people will contribute to the special collection and that several thousands of dollars of addtional revenue will be realized. The Committee recommended that the Fall Festival not be held this year, and that parishioners who have not contributed to the special collection be contacted and invited to do so.

The recommendations of the Church Committee have been adopted. There will not be a Fall Festival this year.

Those members of the Parish who have not as yet contributed to the special collections are invited to do so either by giving a cash gift of $25 or more, or by making a pledge. Four hundred parisioners have given thus far. If an additional 400 of the 1,200 registered members will contribute, we will equal the revenue produced by the Fall Festival
