Pre-Marriage Conferences
1st Conference; The priest talks on the vocation of marriage, psychologically and spiritually.

2nd Conference: A lay couple talks on some practical aspects of marriage, e.g. in laws, money, etc.

3rd Conference; A doctor speaks on the psychological and physical aspects of marriage.

4th Conference: The priest and couple discuss the needs of the young child plus the major disintegrating factors in many marriages. They then summarize and consider questions raised by those attending.

These Pre-Marriage Conferences do not take the place of the six instructions required for mixed marriage, nor do they substitute for the Parish Priest’s instructions before the marriage of two Catholics. They simply augment and complement both.

If you miss one of the conferences, please feel free to make it up in another series, informing the registration couple that you are merely making up one or the other conference. Your offering, in the envelope provided at the time of registration, will enable us to continue this service to other couples after you. A suggested offering of $2.00 is indicated.
