Last Saturday the Cardinals won their second game of the season in nine innings. Steve Wilk started the game but ran into some trouble and Brian Wilson finished the game for the win. Hits by Bob Koos, Jim Scott, Chuck Kleiber, Mike Osaer, Jim Abell, Bob Welker, and Gary Zarb helped in a winning effort over St. John’s. Final score St. Albert 6 and St. John’s 4.
Sunday the Cardinals lost a tough game to Good Shepherd by the score of 4 to 2.
This Sunday the Cardinals play at St. Mary Magdalen at 11:00 a.m. and next weekend the Cardinals play Saturday at Powers Field against St. John’s at 1:00 p.m. and Wednesday, May 21st at St. Alfred’s at 4:30 p.m. See you at the ball park.
