Last Saturday the boys CYO Team started the season against St. Alfred. Pitching the season opener for St. Albert was Brian Wilson. With hitting support from Mike Osaer’s 1st home run and hits from Steve Lamb, Jim Abell, and Tom Popiel, the Cardinals recorded their 1st win.
Next weekend the boys play Saturday at home on Powers Field at 1:00 against St. Cyril and on Sunday, May 11 the team goes to St. Mary Magdalen to play at 11:00. For further games see the schedule at each church door for the girls and boys CYO. teams. See you at the ball park.
Our meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 6th at 8 o’clock in the meeting room. Our speaker will be Mr. David Glick, Assistant Director of Education of Greenfield Village. He is going to tell us what the Village has to offer of interest to all of us.
REMINDER – Please bring your ballots along so your vote can be counted. Our new officers will be elected at this meeting.

We will have clothing and miscellaneous items. Come and find that treasure at reasonable price. We will also have refreshments. If you have any items you would like to donate please bring them to the gym on Thursday, May 8th at 9 o’clock or later during the day, or contact one of the following ladies during the week.
