Ask anyone that attended the game against St. Pius on Thursday, January 30th, and they will agree that the score was no indication of the caliber of play of the two schools.
At the end of the first half the score was 2-2 and with only a minute of play remaining in regulation time the score was dead-locked at 4-4. In the final minute St. Pius scored two baskets for a final score of St. Pius 8 and St. Albert’s 4.
It was a fine game played by both schools. We are indeed proud of our girls.
On Thursday the team plays Wyandotte Catholic in our Gym. Score next week.
Next Sunday come along with us to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, 2609 10th St. in Wyandotte for a 2:00 p.m. game.
