With the announcement that the school would be closing, St. Albert’s also realized that without the students and their parents, the festival would be impossible to operate and maintain. Since the children would be going to other schools, their parents would be busy with responsibilities at their families new school. Thus after 52 years of educating the youths of Dearborn Heights, the school and festival have ended.
