BOY’S C.Y.O. BASEBALL JUN 2ND, 1974
Sunday, May 26th, the Cardinals swung some heavy bats to win over St. Mary Magdalen by the score of 8 to 4.

Pacing the hitters was Brian Lagerstrom, Bob Welker, Duane Crechiolo, Bernard York, Mike Osaer, Mark Flynn, and Tony Marijanovich. Bob Lamb recorded his second win this season.

This Sunday is the last C.Y.O. game of the season at Christ the Good Shepherd. Help the Cardinals win their last game by attending it. We need a good turnout. Thank You.

GIRL’S C.Y.O. BASEBALL JUN 2ND, 1974
It was indeed a difficult week for the girls’ CYO baseball team. On May 22nd, they lost to the team from St. Joseph in Trenton by the score of 11-9. The following day we traveled to Lincoln Park Christ the Good Shepherd and in a real struggle lost 5-4. The girls played their hearts out and were truly good representatives of our school. It seems that other teams are trying for a feather in their caps by beating us.

Results of this week’s games will appear in next week’s Chronicle. The season should be over by now, weather permitting.
