Part of the 1984 festival was the Las Vegas room where many games of chance could be played by the attendee’s of the St Albert festival. These were very popular as Church fundraisers in their day before the legalization of casinos in Detroit.

The leader picnic was a fun day planned for the leaders of St. Albert the Great parish. The day would consist of games, beverages, barbecue, and plenty of socializing.
